What Do We Mean When We Say “Christian”?
Christian education is all-encompassing. It is a way of seeing our world, loving our neighbor, and worshipping our God. It goes beyond the curriculum and into all of life. Our greatest desire, highest aim, and unwavering commitment is to point our students to Jesus Christ-so that in every lesson, every discipline, and every part of the FCA journey, He is exalted.
Because we believe that all knowledge is unified in Christ, your child will be taught all subjects in light of God's existence, majesty, and love. From a robust foundation in biblical narrative in grammar school to apologetics in twelfth grade, we pursue a Christian education that is brimming with “Christ in all,” intentional and comprehensive.
While at FCA, your child will learn to pursue Christ in everyday moments: in friendships and conflicts, in joy and disappointment, in diligence and rest, and in understanding who they are in light of who God is. This holistic formation treats each day as an opportunity to disciple; to direct hearts toward Christ, to shape affections, and to ground students in the steady hope of His Word.
“...these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates…”
