How can you make a gift to Faith Christian Academy?

God has blessed each of us with the ability to contribute in different ways. Whether sharing your time and talents through volunteer work or making a financial gift, we are grateful for the powerful way God provides for FCA through His people.

Planned gifts are deferred gifts made in a donor’s estate plans.

Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. Credit/debit transactions are available here, and you can also write a check payable to Faith Christian Academy. Please mail checks to Faith Christian Academy, Attention: Development Office, 4330 NW Cookingham Drive, Kansas City, MO 64164.

Matching gifts can double or even triple the value of your gift. Many employers match gifts made to non-profits by their employees and retirees. To learn if your company matches gifts, please contact your company’s human resources department.

Gifts of securities offer significant tax advantages to the donor. By making a gift of this type, the donor can take a tax deduction for the full market value of the securities, while avoiding capital gains taxes. For details, please contact the development department.

This provision allows retirees age 70 1/2 and older to donate up to $100,000 tax-free from their IRA to a charitable organization, including Faith Christian Academy.

In-kind gifts are contributions of tangible items that the school would otherwise purchase. Examples of in-kind gifts include works of art, athletic equipment and uniforms, musical instruments, and other school supplies.

For more information about any of these ways to give, or to discuss other giving options, please contact Natalie McMillen, FCA's Director of Development (mcmillenn@fcaclassical.com).
